	Day-own-day aim tsahn! That's Kiowa for "I'm glad you came!" Pocahontas Productions has been the name of my free-lance graphic design business since high school when my hand-drawn logo graced custom-designed greeting cards for friends and relatives. The name has endured through a professional career in Chicago and Seattle; through the child-raising years when I stayed connected by designing small jobs; and now as I have returned full-circle to the design world. The young woman in the beautiful elkskin dress is me at age 14, and while I am not related to the real Pocahontas, my ancestors were Kiowa and I am registered on the Kiowa tribal rolls. The dress is authentic; hand-made by my father's favorite cousin for one of her daughters
